Everyone entering the dining room must pay the age appropriate price, regardless of dining choices.

*A portion of this charge is shared among your server and support staff. Gratuities left on the table go directly to your server(s).

Nordic Dress Code

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience for all of our guests, we ask that attire be clean, neat, and appropriate for our dining room. Clothing should provide appropriate coverage of the torso and underarm area. Sleeveless dresses and appropriately designed sleeveless attire are welcome; tank tops, muscle shirts, and similar garments are not permitted.

This information is updated weekly during our open season. For those of you that choose to visit on a Friday or a Saturday which are walk in only days for groups of less than 20 people, we provide these suggestions to help you decide what time to visit on your day of choice. This is also where we share with you any extended hours we may be offering – which happens almost every week.

Enjoy our warm and inviting lounge and grounds.

Our talented bartenders can make any classic drink as well as our many signature Nordic cocktails.

Marc and his team are prepared to provide you with a top shelf beverage to enjoy inside with your meal or lakeside on our grounds. Our sand volleyball court and other lawn games are available for those who prefer to be a bit more active while others may prefer relaxation by a fire pit or in a hammock. Live lakeside entertainment is provided seasonally on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, weather permitting.

Birthdays

Enjoy the buffet within 1 week of your special day and receive a gift from us! If your birthday falls during the time we are closed for the winter, we will happily recognize it during the first 2 weeks of our season in the spring. Bring your ID to the Gift Shop after enjoying the buffet to receive your gift.

Military

Present an active military or veteran ID when enjoying the buffet and receive either a free drink or a dessert to go!

Senior Citizens

The first Friday of every month we welcome anyone 65 or older to present a valid ID and receive $15 off the buffet.

Locals Night

Locals, we’ve got a day just for you!
On October 23rd, present an ID from anywhere within Washington County, Rhode Island and receive $15 off the buffet and a drink on us.

Pint Night

On October 3oth, receive a custom Nordic pint glass to bring home with the purchase of one of our draft beers.

How it all started…

In 1963 the Persson family bought the property The Nordic now resides on. The original property was a summer vacation resort and the restaurant was born out of a need to feed the visiting guests.

The importance of family and tradition has always been the backbone of the Persson family. Now, over 60 years and 4 generations later you will find the same family running the day to day operations of the restaurant.
